Sean Landry Gun Assault and Elliot's Escape (2032)

Sean Landry’s gun assault and Elliot’s escape occurred in 2032, approximately four months after Elliot Landry began working for Jacob Keller. Sean Landry held a loaded gun against Elliot’s temple and fired into the wall beside him. Elliot fled the Brownsville apartment, received housing and legal support from Jacob and Logan Weston, and permanently ended contact with Sean.

Background

Elliot had lived with Sean in Brownsville for more than a year because he lacked a safe affordable alternative. Sean had abused him since childhood. Their adult co-residence included physical violence, threats, theft, financial exploitation, and conflict over Sean’s hard-drug use.

Jacob’s 2032 job offer gave Elliot stable income, health insurance, and work he valued. It did not initially include a room in Jacob’s home. Elliot continued returning to Brownsville for approximately four months after he was hired.

Assault

After Elliot returned from an Italy performance trip with Jacob, Sean confronted him in the apartment. When Elliot tried to leave the confrontation, Sean pressed the barrel of a loaded gun against his temple. Sean told Elliot that if he killed him, his boss would not care and neither would anyone else.

Elliot pleaded for his life. Sean pulled the trigger, firing a bullet into the wall several feet away.

Elliot’s Departure

Elliot left the apartment around midnight with a half-zipped duffel bag. He drove without a destination and parked near the East River. He did not risk a hotel because he feared that Sean would find him once he went to sleep, so he remained in the car through the night.

The following morning, Elliot attempted to report for work as though nothing had happened. Jacob recognized that he was fleeing violence and offered him the second bedroom in the Park Laurel apartment without rent or conditions. Elliot moved out of Brownsville within days, taking the duffel and the possessions already stored in his car.

Jacob and Logan supported Elliot while he filed charges and ended contact with Sean. Sean was incarcerated after the case and remained in prison eight years later.

Elliot and Sean had no further contact.
